- Protest Against the Distortion of the History of Japanese Invasion in China in the Japanese textbooks

In 1982, the Japanese Ministry of Education approved history textbooks which distorted the facts about the Japanese invasion in China, saying that the Japanese "did not invade" but just "entered" China during World War II. On 18 September, marking the sad commemoration of the Japanese invasion which started on 18 September, 1931, HKPTU staged a mass rally in Victoria Park, protesting the historical distortion by the Japanese government.

- In Commemoration of the Marco Polo Bridge Incident and the Nanjing Massacre

Until today, the Japanese government has NOT apologized for the killing of millions of innocent Chinese during the Japanese invasion, not to mention reparation. Every year, on July 7 (the date marking the beginning of full-scale Japanese invasion in China in 1937) , September 18 (the date marking the beginning of Japanese invasion in the Northeastern Chinese Provinces in 1931) and December 13 (the date marking the Nanjing Massacre), PTU staged mass rallies against the revival of the Japanese militarism and against the denial of Japanese War Crimes by the Japanese.

- Defending Diaoyutai Islands

Unrepentant over its sinful military crimes on the Chinese soil, the Japanese militarism was witnessed when the Japanese government claimed their sovereignty on Diaoyutai Islands which belong to the Chinese, according to ancient and modern Chinese historical records. HKPTU staged a protest against the Japanese militarism when it was reported some rightist Japanese were meddling on the Diaoyutai islands.
